Taught by patristics scholar Christopher McLaughlin and Classical languages instructor Michael O’Brien.
In these bimonthly classes, work through some of the most famous and influential passages in this foundational work while increasing proficiency in reading Latin and experiencing the stylistic and expressive techniques of this great Latin Church Father. Texts, notes, and learning materials will be distributed or are available for free online. Participants should have completed and have some recollection of one year or more of Latin; build language ability during the course using the notes and study aids provided.
