The Ratzinger Memorial Society supports theological and related inquiry within the Catholic tradition of fides quaerens intellectum. Following the luminary work of St. John Henry Newman, the Society is rooted in the conviction that theology should form the center of a liberal arts education. The Society runs a discussion group every Saturday at 11:00 AM during the academic term, with a variety of topics proposed by the members or offered by invited speakers. The Tuesday Reading Group, 6:00-7:15 PM will read and discuss the Dogmatic Constitutions of Vatican II, the Council’s most authoritative documents, during the Spring term of 2025. The Society combines learning and fellowship in support of an intellectually rigorous exploration of the Catholic tradition and of our devotional lives.
