INSIGHTS OF CATHOLIC SOCIAL TEACHING INTO ECONOMIC LIFE

Catholic Social Teaching offers insights into man's existence in the modern world, contributing to debates involving politics, economics, and society at large. In applying the major themes of the Church’s teaching in this area, the group will consider how economic life can serve human flourishing in its fullness. Readings from Pope Leo XIII's Rerum Novarum and John Paul II's Centesimus Annus, as well as more recent treatments of the issues, drawn from the emerging field of Thomistic economics.
Reading materials will be provided to registered participants or are available online. Light refreshments offered.
