WHO IS THE MAN OF THE SHROUD?
Thursday, March 26, 6:00 PM EDT
DiGiovanni Hall, St. Paul’s Campus, 29 Mount Auburn St., Cambridge & Livestreamed
Fr. Andrew Dalton
Pontifical Athenaeum Regina Apostolorum
The Shroud of Turin is a blood-stained linen cloth that bears the image of a man, whom many believe to be the crucified Jesus of Nazareth. Scientists, historians, and archaeologists have puzzled over this artefact and still cannot explain how the image was formed, which has led some to conclude that the Shroud is a relic from the time of Christ’s passion. Join Fr Andrew Dalton as he explores the history and science behind the Shroud, and how it relates to Christian faith past and present.
