FEARFUL SYMMETRY: COSMIC ORDER AND A DIVINE CREATOR

October 15, 2020

For thousands of years, some philosophers and scientists have argued that order in the universe points to a creator God. How does this argument hold up against the scientific discoveries of recent decades? The Harvard Catholic Forum and the Lumen Christi Institute welcome Professor Stephen M. Barr, Professor Emeritus of Physics from the University of Delaware and President of the Society of Catholic Scientists, to explain.

The event's co-sponsors are the Science and Religion Initiative of the McGrath Institute for Church Life (University of Notre Dame) and the Society for Catholic Scientists.
