Join this lively group from around the world as we translate Christian Latin prose and poetry, including selections from the Vulgate Bible, the Latin Church Fathers, St. Thomas Aquinas, and Christian poetry/ hymns. Texts and learning materials will be distributed or are available for free online. Some language review is included, but the focus is on reading and translation. Participants should have completed and have some recollection of one year or more of Latin. Taught by Classical languages instructor Michael O'Brien and patristics scholar Christopher McLaughlin.
