The Vulgate Bible: The Passion of Christ Through the Old and New Testaments. In these bimonthly classes, work through some inspiring texts while increasing proficiency in reading Latin and experiencing the stylistic and expressive techniques of the Vulgate. Texts, notes, and learning materials will be distributed or are available for free online. Participants should have completed and have some recollection of one year or more of Latin; build language ability during the course using the notes and study aids provided. Registration is required for any new second semester participants to receive materials and Zoom invitations (first semester participants remain registered.
